An applicant who is an Aadhaar card holder can apply for DSC using a Paperless Mode. No document is required in this process. You have to provide your 12-digit Aadhaar number then your Aadhaar data would be retrieved and visible on the application form. The application would be verified through an email address and mobile. Video verification is needed. The whole procedure to apply for DSC to generate orders and download DSC would be completed within a stipulated time.
By selecting an Aadhaar OTP mode, the applicant has to provide his mobile-linked aadhaar number and an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. By entering an OTP, applicant aadhaar details will be visible on the screen. No document is required. Video verification will be done. After successful completion of DSC verification, DSC can be downloaded. This is a fast and convenient method to obtain DSC anywhere anytime.
This DSC application mode is more reliable and authentic as it is combined with a biometric device. This procedure would require installing the ‘Capricorn Biometric’ application in the machine. The applicant has to provide his Aadhaar or VID number and scan the selected finger. All your aadhaar details will be visible on the screen. No video verification is required in this mode. This process is simple and hassle-free.
This mode of DSC application mode requires some essential details like PAN Card number, name, mobile number, etc. The applicant has to provide an e-KYC ID and an e-KYC PIN to obtain an OTP. After verifying an OTP, applicant details would be visible in the application form. Verification would be processed by using mobile, email, and video modes. This process saves time and reduces efforts in obtaining a DSC.
This process of applying for a Digital Signature Certificate DSC is more suitable and flexible for many clients. The applicant has to obtain a paperless offline e-KYC and then fill up the required e-KYC details in the application form. After verification of the details, applicant aadhaar details will be retrieved on the screen and verification would be done through mobile, email, and video. This process would require less time and effort.
For applying through Capricorn Existing e-KYC mode, the applicant has to provide his e-KYC ID, and e-KYC PIN, and, the applicant would receive an OTP to verify the credentials. The Applicant’s details would be visible in the application form. In this method, the applicant doesn't need to show any document during the video recording. This mode is suitable for those who have applied for paperless DSC and want to apply for DSC again.
